Online Math Practice

Grades 4 and 6 will begin using Mathletics and Prodigy, two online educational Math sites, to practice and reinforce our math learning. This also addresses 21st Century Learning through technology. Mathletics will be the main site we will use, and Prodigy will be our supplementary source. We will periodically access these sites with our chrome books during class as part of our math study. This will typically be for only about a 20 minute duration and will not happen everyday. The students are already registered in our Mathletics class through the school board. In class this week, they will be instructed to set up their own Prodigy account and keep track of their own password. If they already have a Prodigy login, they need to make sure that going forward, they are logging in to our current class, not last year's. They will be able to access these sites through their home computer as well if they wish. Feel free to check out both sites and even observe your child on them, to see what they are all about.
