Lent

Lent is one of the most important periods in the Catholic Liturgical calendar. Lent began on Ash Wednesday and will end on Holy Thursday (the day of the Last Supper), followed by Easter weekend. Lent is a time for Catholics to reflect on our physical and spiritual lives and remember how Jesus sacrificed His life for us. During Lent we focus on three pillars:

*Prayer

*Fasting (giving up something we enjoy)

*Alms Giving (giving to the less fortunate)

I hope and pray that all our Holy Cross families remain positive, safe and healthy over this season.
