Congratulations on your Confirmation

Some of our grade 6 students were recently Confirmed. Congratulations on that special religious milestone. To those in different parishes who are still in preparation, we offer our prayers and encouragement during your faith journey.

A Confirmation booklet has been sent home to aid in pre or post support to this important sacrament. The hope was that it would have been completed with the class earlier, but it has been an unusual year with many hits to our class time in terms of job action, snow days, and now school closure. I appreciate that parents are understanding of this. It is important to keep in mind that Confirmation is a Sacrament where family and parish are the primary sources of preparation. While school preparation no longer takes the lead as it once did, as a Catholic school we are an integral part of the community of support to our students during their renewal of faith.
